Hi! My full name is Roopesh Saravanan. Saravanan is my father's name. As I grow up, many of the education and government documentations require filling in a last name, which I don't have. So I included my father's name as my last name. I am from Tamil Nadu, and most of them here do the same thing because the previous-to-previous generation had a thought that the caste system can be abolished by not including it as their surname. It's been more than 60 years, but still caste-related violence and honor killing are still practiced. Coming back to my bio, I fix networks for a living. I work in TAC at Arista Networks.
